Seraphic Fire has announced a new distribution deal with Naxos, the international behemoth of classical labels.

While the South Florida choir will continue to record on its own house label, the ensemble’s previous nine discs and all future releases will now be distributed internationally by Naxos.

“The entire Seraphic Fire team is elated to join Naxos’ roster of musicians” said artistic director Patrick Dupré Quigley in a released statement. “This partnership is an exciting step in the evolution of Seraphic Fire, and we look forward to working hand-in-hand with Naxos, one of the biggest names in classical music.”

“Naxos of America is excited to partner with the Grammy-nominated choir Seraphic Fire and Firebird Chamber Orchestra” said Jim Selby, CEO of Naxos of America. “We are thrilled to be a part of bringing the work of Seraphic Fire to an even wider audience. We look forward to working with this enthusiastic and forward-thinking group in promoting the wonderful recordings that they work so hard to create.”

Seraphic Fire’s next CD will be a second Christmas album, to be released in November.
