Arsht Center announces classical season
Lang Lang will be among the artists performing in the Arsht Center's classical series next season
A series of celebrated soloists will highlight the 2011-2012 classical series at the Arsht Center in Miami.
The series will feature the violinist Itzhak Perlman, violinist Midori, pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet, pianist Garrick Ohlsson, and pianist Lang Lang.
Perlman will appear with some of his protégés from The Perlman Music Program, Thibaudet will perform with the St. Petersburg State Orchestra, Ohlsson with the Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra and Midori with the Minnesota Orchestra. Lang Lang will play a solo recital.
Season tickets for the John S. and James L. Knight 2011-12 Masterworks Season – Sanford and Dolores Ziff Classical Music Series range from $237.50 to $635.
