Palm Beach Opera announces conductors for season

Case Scaglione

Palm Beach Opera has announced its podium lineup for the 2012-13 season, which was thrown into disarray by the departure of music director Bruno Aprea in September.

Case Scaglione, assistant conductor of the New York Philharmonic, will lead the orchestra in Verdi’s La Traviata in January. Bel canto and Rossini scholar Will Crutchfield conducts La Cenerentola in February and Strauss specialist Roberto Pastronosto is on the podium for Salome in March.
